Age Limit: Not exceeding 28 years (No age relaxation for SC /ST/ OBC candidates) Relaxable for Central Government servants by 12 years in accordance with instruction issued by the Central Government .

Qualification:
(i) Degree of recognized University or equivalent .
(ii) Degree in Library Science from a recognized University.
(iii) Knowledge of language /dialect of area concerned (i.e Kannade Language )
