• One Senior Research Fellow(SRF) ,  Pay Rs.  16000 +20% House Rent Allowance as per GoI Rules
  (`16000 + HRA as admissible for NET/GATE qualified as per revised emoluments vide DST OM A.20020/11/97-IFD dated: 31.03.2010), Essential Qualification* -Post Graduate degree (MSc/ M.Tech) in Meteorology or M.Sc.(Agriculture) in Agronomy / Agrimet/ Ag.Phys. / Soil Science/ Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University / Institution.
  Desirable Qualification - Candidate with knowledge/ experience in Meteorological data processing/ remote sensing/ GIS/ Crop Simulation Modeling preferred.
  *Preference will be given to higher qualification/experience
  Nationality/Age: Indian nationals with the following age limits are eligible to apply.
  Age Limit: Age should be below 35 years for men and 40 years for women for SRF as on 1.7.2010 (age relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates). Further age relaxation may be given to the candidates with experience in Agrometeorology.

A Walk-in Interview will be held for the selection of RA / SRF / JRF under the DBT-sponsored project 'DBT-State Biotech Hub' at Mizoram University, Aizawl.

1) Research Associate (RA)
Eligibility: PhD degree in Biological / Chemical / Physical / Agri / Veterinary Sciences / Biomedical Sciences. Evidence of research experience in molecular biology techniques is essential from published work.

2) Senior Research Fellow/Junior Research Fellow
Eligibility for SRF: MSc degree in Biological / Chemical / Physical / Agri / Veterinary Sciences / Biomedical Sciences and two years of post-MSc research experience is essential.
Eligibility for JRF: Candidates having MSc degree in the above. NET / GATE / BINC candidates will be given preference
