Online Applications are invited by NISTADS from Indian Nationals within and outside the country, for the following  posts of Scientists and Technical Assistants (Advertisement No. 01-R/2016) :

1. Scientist / Senior Scientist : 04 Posts (UR-2, OBC-2), Pay Scale :  Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs. 6600 / 7600, Age : 32/37 years
2. Technical Assistant : 03 Posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800  Grade Pay Rs. 4200, Age : 28 years

The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy; Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. students to pursue doctoral research (Ph D) in the broad areas of theoretical and experimental plasma physics.

Eligibility : M.Sc. in one of the following subjects : Physics, Engineering Physics OR Applied Physics with a minimum aggregate of 55%.
