RECRUITMENT OF EXECUTIVE TRAINEES (CIVIL/ELECTRICAL/ SIGNAL & TELECOM/ARCHITECT) FOR DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION LTD.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), a Joint Venture company with equity participation from Govt. of India and Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi has been entrusted with the responsibility of implementation of the rail based Mass Rapid transit System for Delhi. -

Break- up of advertised Vacancies( 20 Nos. )*, as per roster :
Civil : 07 ( UR-2, OBC-1, SC- 3, ST-1 )
Electrical : 06 ( UR-2, OBC-1, SC-2 , ST-1 )
Signal/ Telecom : 06 ( UR-3, OBC- 1, SC-1 , ST-1 )
Architect : 01 ( OBC- 01 )

Age:

Not less than 21 years and not more than 28 years as on 01/01/11 (i.e born earlier to 02.01.1983). 3 years age relaxation for OBC and 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST will be admissible, against the reserved vacancies in a particular discipline.
Educational Qualification: A minimum of 70% marks in B.Tech/B.E. Examination (Civil, Electrical and Electronics) and a minimum of 60% marks in B.Arch, from AICTE recognized Institutes/Universities.
Appearing Candidate:
Candidates, who are appearing at the qualifying exam (B.Tech/B.E./B.Arch), passing of which would render them educationally qualified for this examination but have not been informed of the results, will also be eligible for admission to this examination. Such candidates will be admitted to the examination, if otherwise eligible, but their admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the requisite qualifying examination on the date of Interview/Group Discussion. The result should have been declared for public through newspaper/website etc & should be in public domain.
Training :
Selected candidates will be sent for one year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Course’ in “Metro Technology and Management” at IIT/Delhi. During the above course, the trainees will be paid a stipend of Rs.25000/- p.m. Accommodation facility for self only will be arranged by DMRC during the period of the course at IIT/Delhi.

Induction :
On successful completion of the course, the trainees will be inducted as Assistant Manager in DMRC in IDA pay scale Rs.20600-46500/-. Trainees who secure more than 75% marks during the PG Diploma Course will be granted two advance increments in Assistant Manager’s grade, while those who secure less than 75% marks will be granted only one advance increment at the time of induction. Such of candidates who do not complete the course or do not secure the minimum pass marks in the PG Diploma course at IIT/Delhi will not be inducted in DMRC. They will have to pay a bond amount of Rs.5 Lakhs to DMRC, towards training cost. Those candidates who successfully complete the course but do not join DMRC, their
candidature will lapse and they will also have to pay an amount of Rs. 5 Lakhs to DMRC as bond amount.
Seniority:
The inter-se seniority of the Executive Trainees in the concerned discipline at Assistant Manager Level shall be decided based on the overall performance at the Post Graduate Diploma Course at IIT/Delhi. Their seniority upon absorption will count retrospectively from the date of start of the course at IIT/Delhi.

Probation:After induction as Assistant Manager, they will be on probation for a period of two years. After successful completion of probation, they will be confirmed as per the policy of DMRC.

Bond & Notice Period time:Before joining the course, they will have to execute a Bond of Rs. 5 Lakh to serve DMRC for a period of five years (This is inclusive of the PG Diploma course period of one year). They
will also have to give a notice of three months (working) if they want to leave DMRC at any point of time during bond period.

Fees: The candidates will have to enclose a non-refundable crossed Demand Draft for Rs.300/- for General & OBC candidates and for Rs.50/- for SC/ST candidates (for processing cost only) along with application form drawn in favour of DELHI METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED, payable at New Delhi indicating on the reverse of the DD, their name & address, telephone no., if any. Demand Drafts payable at locations other than Delhi / New Delhi will not be accepted. MO/PO or any other mode of payment is not acceptable. Candidates are advised to check the details of Demand Draft carefully before enclosing it with the application Form. Candidates should retain a photocopy of their demand draft and application form for
future reference. They should also keep sufficient numbers of copies of the same Photograph in reserve for future use, which they are pasting in the application form. The photograph should not be more than six months old. Incomplete applications or applications received without demand draft or received after the due date will be summarily rejected. DMRC will not be responsible for any postal delay/ loss in transit. No request in this regard will be entertained.
